If she is unable to find a buyer for her center, it will unfortunately have to close, not only leaving many families without high quality supplemental education, but also ending the legacy of one of the first Kumon Learning Centers in the country.
“Whether their children are studying above grade level or need a little extra help, I have a lot of families that truly rely on Kumon of Cape Elizabeth,” said Susan Ferris, who is both Instructor and owner. “I first opened the center because I wanted to provide a supplemental study option for my own children, but it quickly turned into much more than that for thousands of students over the years.”
