Sneha Issani learned of her passion for education at an early age. She first learned of the Kumon program at an early age, and after her college graduation began teaching English to Chinese students. When she went to make the next step in her career, she wanted to combine her love of education with entrepreneurship.
This was always a goal for her, as she hailed from a family of business owners. The combination led her back to Kumon. Today, as the owner and Instructor of Kumon of Lilburn – Five Forks Trickum, she hopes to have the same impact on her future students as her Kumon Instructor had on her.
“My love for Kumon runs back to when I was a young child,” said Issani, owner and Instructor of Kumon of Lilburn-Five Forks Trickum. “When I thought about the impact it had on my life and how much it helped me prosper, I realized how important it was for me to provide the same experience in my own community.”
Kumon is a supplemental education program that aims to increase academic independence, confidence, and study skills in students. Through daily worksheet study and personalized study plans, children that are enrolled in Kumon often end up mastering material far beyond grade level.
When Sneha inquired for more information on becoming a Kumon Franchisee, she was met with an extensive network of support. It’s an ideal business opportunity for many first-time entrepreneurs with a passion for education, as up to $36,400 in startup cost assistance is made available to help ensure success. Kumon’s training process is designed to guide each Instructor every step of the way.
“Beyond math and reading, Kumon truly helps students grow as confident individuals,” said Issani. “I can personally attest to the fact that the Kumon Program is like magic if you give it your all, and I can’t wait to prove that to my community.”
