Local Entrepreneur Forgoes Retirement and Opens Kumon Math and Reading Center of Dallas-Northaven to Give Back to the Community

– Sachin Pradhan experienced a remarkable 25-year career in architectural engineering and information technology. Wanting to take a break from corporate life, Pradhan decided to forgo the retirement option and instead start his own business that would focus on giving back to the community. That’s when he recalled the success that his eldest son experienced in the Kumon Math and Reading Program and decided to open his own center in Dallas-Northaven.

“Kumon is not just about education, it gives children the fundamental skills to succeed in life,” said Pradhan, owner and Instructor of Kumon Math and Reading Center of Dallas-Northaven. “Work skills, time management, willingness to tackle new challenges—these are all important characteristics I hope to nurture. If I have even one student come back and say ‘Hey Kumon really helped me throughout my educational and professional career,’ that will be the biggest achievement for me.”
